CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION (CTE) PATHWAYS
Esparto CTE teachers have collaborated across all district programs to create a unified CTE Master Plan—a comprehensive and strategic approach to preparing students for college, career, and life after graduation. This districtwide plan ensures that every student has access to high-quality, hands-on learning experiences aligned to real-world industry standards.
Many of our CTE courses offer dual enrollment opportunities through Woodland Community College, allowing students to earn college credit while still in high school. Students also gain experience using industry-standard equipment and can earn recognized industry certifications in pathways such as Culinary, Early Childhood Education, and Welding.
CTE provides students with the technical knowledge, practical skills, and confidence needed to explore future careers. Students who complete a full pathway graduate with valuable certifications and experiences that prepare them to enter the workforce, pursue post-secondary education, or continue advanced training with a strong foundation for success.
