Students will assist the Activity Director in planning and carrying out ASB functions and activities such as Homecoming, Spart-a-rama, Senior Trip, athletic and academic awards ceremonies, Prom, etc.,in addition to fulfilling legal requirements of ASB operations. Interns are expected to work independently on assigned tasks and will be graded upon completion of those tasks. 


Early Childhood Education I: Introduction to Education

Introduction to Education is a year long course that will introduce students to theories of learning and teaching.  Students will study the history of education in the United States, factors influencing educational systems, education policy, the psychology behind learning, curriculum design and development.  There is a required lab component with preschool & TK-5 students in a public school classroom setting.


Spartan Success

Learning to critically evaluate and assess the job market and jobs in the future as it relates to agriculture related careers. Students will learn how to identify opportunities and evaluate skills, interests, and identify training and/or education pathways through career explorations.  


Teacher Assistant

One Year:  10 Credits

Prerequisite:   Approval of instructor


This course is for students interested in developing and using clerical skills for personal use or for job preparation.

The student should be interested in the subject matter and have usable knowledge of the materials studied in the course.
