Math and Science Sequence
SUGGESTED MATHEMATICS SEQUENCE GRADES 9-12
Esparto Unified School District Mathematics Placement Policy
In order to place students appropriately into a math course as they transition from middle school to high school, the following five objective academic measures shall be considered:
Grades in Middle School math courses
Teacher recommendations
Score on Renaissance Star Assessment (taken during the Spring of the 8th grade year)
Initial Course Assessment given in the first weeks of their Freshman year
SUGGESTED SCIENCE SEQUENCE GRADES 9-12
